Clara de Tezanos – Internationally awarded and recognized photographer, Clara is the Co-Founder of La Fototeca. Clara began her photographic career at an early age, after a three year stay studying at Parsons in France and SPEOS she began working in Paris. Clara now lives and works in Guatemala. In the past years, she has participated in numerous group exhibitions.
Juan Jose Estrada – International photographer and co-Founder of La Fototeca. Juan Jose studied photography in Guatemala and Barcelona. In the past years, Juan Jose has participated in numerous group exhibitions, in addition to two solo exhibits, Juan Jose is also an entrepreneur, in charge of several companies in the city of Guatemala.
Adriana Teresa – Co-Founder of FotoVisura & Visura Media, Adriana Teresa is an emerging visual artist and curator. Publisher, Creative & Editorial Director of Visura Magazine, producer of projects like Visura Spotlight, FotoVisura Latin American Pavilion and FotoVisura.com—Adriana seeks to promote an international community within the visual arts. Born in Puerto Rico she now lives and works in New York.
Silvia Herrera – Curator and art critic, Silvia has over 25 year of experience as a professor of art, aesthetics, philosophy, and ethics at different schools in Guatemala and Spain, in addition to a Doctorate in Philosophy of Art. She has published several articles on philosophy, art, culture and has vast experience curating, writing and advising exhibitions, galleries and museums. She has established herself as one of the most important art critics in Guatemala.
Daniel Chauche – Artist, and owner of Chez Daniel Studio, Daniel is considered a Master of Photography. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Master of Fine Arts. He has worked extensively over the past decades and his work belongs to several private and public collections in the USA and Guatemala. His documentary work centers on anthropological and physcological interests. Daniel has been a photography teacher for many years, and under his tutelage many of Guatemala’s most renowned photographers have emerged.
